Sierra Design Home Inspections is now offering a new and valuable service at an extraordinary value. Any home inspection that involves an above ground oil tank can now include an ultrasonic test and a $1,000 tank replacement warranty. The ultrasonic test is an EPA approved technology and has become the standard for testing this type of tank.

Through TankSure® we provide a Tank Inspection Certificate which can earn the home buyer a discount on their homeowner’s insurance policy—and the $1,000 proactive tank replacement warranty through a participating oil provider. This process reduces the probability that a leaking tank will affect your property. The TankSure® Program is just another reason why the home will sell.

Heating oil tanks typically corrode from the inside out. Your tank may look perfectly fine from the outside but it could be wearing excessively thin. The testing (similar to a medical ultrasound) will allow us to give you a sense of security and plenty of advance warning that a problem is on the horizon.
